We are founder members of the Public Service Pensioners Council which represents the views of well over 1 million pensioners in the public sector. Through this body we have access to representation to many government departments.
We continue to liaise, both formally and informally with the Police Staff Associations and through them make our voice heard on the Police Negotiating Board in respect of pension matters.
Full Membership is open to all Former Police Officers who are entitled to receive a Police Pension, their widows, widowers, partners and spouses.
NARPO does not allow those who were dismissed or required to resign to be members in any capacity.
If you do not meet those requirements you are eligible to become an Associate Member, which entitles you to all the NARPO services and benefits but precludes you from being a Branch Official or delegate at Conference.
